Location : Staten Island, NY (multiple early childhood sites available)

Pay Rate : $55–$58 / hour

Job Type : Full-Time or Part-Time Contract (minimum 3 days / week)

Assignment Length : 12-month program with long-term, indefinite potential

Start Date : Immediate

Temp-to-Perm : Available

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM

Environment : Early childhood education setting working with preschool students

Overview

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support preschool children in a structured, collaborative early childhood environment. The team values communication, flexibility, and balanced independence. New grads are fully welcome and will receive support as they grow into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool children
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Adapt interventions to support developmental and functional needs
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment
