GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

The Veterans Home of Wyoming is looking for a motivated Shahbaz (Certified Nurse Aide) to provide care in a home-like setting using the greenhouse model of care. Qualifications

PREFERENCES /

Preference will be given to individuals with six (6) months or more experience in healthcare.

KNOWLEDGE :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education & Experience Substitution :

1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services)

Certificates Licenses Registrations :

CNA Certification obtained within twelve (12) months of hire

OR

Education :

Associates Degree (typically in Healthcare)

Experience :

No prior experience required

Certificates Licenses Registrations :

CNA Certification obtained within twelve (12) months of hire

Necessary Special Requirements

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :

Lift medical / patient equipment of varying sizes and weights to about 50 lbs.

Work evenings nights and / or weekends as scheduled.

NOTES :

For our residents health and protection annual influenza vaccination is required and annual testing for tuberculosis.
