Senior Applied Machine Learning Scientist

Senior Applied ML Scientists lead Unlearn’s work to develop state‑of‑the‑art ML approaches for generating Digital Twins – probabilistic models of a patient’s future health outcomes given knowledge of their current and past medical history. Senior Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn come from a wide range of disciplines, and have honed their ML expertise through their previous experience conducting novel and impactful research at top academic and industrial labs or their previous work delivering ML and data‑science products in highly ambiguous and challenging commercial settings. Successful Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn are entrepreneurial in their approach; feeling a strong sense of end‑to‑end ownership of their mission, they investigate broadly to find the right tools and techniques to help their teams succeed. They are also highly determined individuals, powering through problems with cleverness and resolve.

Data is a vital input to Unlearn’s success, providing the raw materials to build great machine learning models and digital twins, as well as a vital tool in understanding disease. This role will lead work to create opportunities for Unlearn to gain access to and use important data resources across clinical trials, observational studies, registries, real world datasets, and other sources. Partnerships range from straightforward cases to ones where creative problem solving is needed to build a mutually beneficial partnership with a data provider, and those projects can include technical and commercial components. The work requires internal and external collaboration as well as excellent operational capabilities to manage multiple efforts and successfully convert opportunities into data access. Lead Product Designer

We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to shape the future of design at Unlearn. In this role, you’ll guide the design direction for our Unlearn Platform – the suite of products that enables our biopharma customers to use our digital twin technology and AI to continually inform and accelerate critical decisions, enabling them to deliver drugs to patients more quickly.

As our most senior individual contributor, you’ll balance hands‑on design work with leadership and mentorship responsibilities. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, machine learning, and research teams to define user experiences that are both elegant and deeply technical. You’ll also play a key role in scaling our design culture, systems, and processes as Unlearn grows.

Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced product leader who wants to help build a new, computationally‑focused and AI approach to solving important problems in healthcare. The Product Manager will have a broad knowledge base and the ability to converse and collaborate with different types of teams including technology, marketing, and business development, as well as the ability to develop a deep understanding of the problems our customers and users at biopharma companies encounter while running clinical trials. The ideal candidate must also have demonstrated experience with the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

Biostatistician

Biostatisticians lead Unlearn’s work to integrate state‑of‑the‑art ML approaches into the design and analysis of clinical trials. This can be everything from utilizing PROCOVA, a methodology we developed to add power and reduce sample size in phase‑2 and phase‑3 trials, to defining and conducting Bayesian or single arm analyses or innovating solutions for custom problems. Biostatisticians at Unlearn work closely with their counterparts at customers as well as broader clinical development teams.
