Job Details :

• Work 12-hour shifts with start times between 6 : 45-7 : 15
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday shifts as needed
• Patient ratios of 1 : 5, possibly 1 : 6 for both day and night shifts
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Required certifications : BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA)
• Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital address on driver's license
• BSN not required
• Scrub color requirement : Caribbean Blue
• Work on 44-bed unit with 40 staff members
• Float to all acute care units and cardio for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
• EMR system : Meditech 6.1 (experience preferred but not required)
• Telemetry patients monitored on different unit
• CNA support available with 1 : 8 ratios, generally 1 : 10
• General orientation : 1 week including EMR training
• Floor-specific orientation : 2 days
• Cancellation policy : 12 hours every 2 weeks
