The Account Implementation Manager 1 works as part of the Account Services team. Responsible for implementing new Voluntary Benefits groups, re-enrollment activities for existing groups and ongoing servicing activities involving enrollment, billing and claims activity. Acts as liaison between Sales / Marketing team and operations teams for audits and updates involving multiple departments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of the implementation process and key deliverables for new employer groups.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with operational departments regarding implementation and build changes / updates for assigned book of business.
  • Perform audits and lead operational teams in updates required to resolve discrepancies.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in account implementation and / or account servicing. Insurance experience and advanced Excel skills in pivot table and vLookup beneficial but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to manage and work with many different personalities and styles.
  • Ability to interact professionally and confidently with clients across a variety of communication methods such as WebEx, email, phone or face-to-face meetings.
  • Must be able to multi-task with implementations at various stages and set priorities accordingly.
  • Independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving.
  • Travel Requirements :

    This position may require some travel on occasion when in-person meetings with brokers or employer groups are needed.
