American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med / Surg Float Pool position requiring telemetry expertise, Epic experience, and evening / night availability. Job Details Work in a hospital environment floating between Med / Surg and Telemetry units, including cardiac, spine, neuro, and IMC settings, Care for diverse, complex, and dynamic patient populations, Shifts are 12 hours, from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30, with rotations on evenings / nights, Monday through Friday, and every other weekend, Epic EMR experience is required, preferably within the last 12 months, Travelers are the first to float and may be scheduled in multiple units or locations based on facility needs, Job Requirements Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration, Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in relevant units, Current American Heart Association BLS certification required, Basic Arrhythmia experience required, Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start, with strict passing criteria including lethal rhythm identification, Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the work site, Epic charting system experience required, Floating experience preferred, Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing patients, escalating complications, implementing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, Opportunity to mentor and precept new nurses and students, Travelers will receive approximately one week of orientation, First-time travelers may be accepted in some units, Must be able to meet strict telemetry testing requirements prior to starting, Holiday coverage may be required as per unit need, Locals within 50 miles are not accepted,
