Summary :
Leads the planning, execution, and oversight of all preventative and general maintenance activities. Aligns maintenance work with production needs, minimizes downtime, and recommends investments that support equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct the preventative maintenance program and ensure proper training for staff using maintenance systems and tools.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance around production demands to reduce downtime and meet budget targets.
- Partner with operations, supervisors, and support teams to address equipment issues, prioritize repairs, and maintain workflow.
- Ensure maintenance personnel have the materials, tools, and information needed to work safely and efficiently.
- Provide on-site guidance, troubleshoot problems, and support daily operations across all shifts.
- Review procedures and recommend improvements to boost efficiency, strengthen team capabilities, and control costs.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance needs.
- Coach team members, manage performance, and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Lead process improvement efforts and support long-term planning for departmental and facility goals.
- Coordinate cross-department efforts to solve problems and keep maintenance goals aligned with plant objectives.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
