Village Green with over 25 years of experience is a locally owned company with four office locations in Saint Paul New Brighton Brooklyn Park and Savage.

We are looking for Mechanics who specialize in repair & maintenance for our fleet of trucks & equipment.

Winter Hours : Flexible schedule (40 hours per week).

Spring to Fall Hours : Set Schedule

Hourly Rate : DOE- $22-$40 / hour DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for our Mechanic :

• Maintain and repair company equipment and vehicles. Our fleet includes : p ickup trucks dump trucks semi-trucks s kid loaders front end loaders excavators trailers and s mall engine equipment.
• Knowledgeable in brakes suspension cooling light engine work and transmission
• Drivability assessment diagnose sounds check engine lights sensors
• Ability to trouble shoot hydraulic mechanisms such as plows and dump trucks
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment
• Demonstrates ability to problem solve electrical issues 12 / 24V systems
• Metal Fab / Welding; wire feed and stick
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections
• Demonstrates timely and effective communication- verbal non-verbal and written
• Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
