Outpatient Psychiatrist opening in Santa Fe, NM.

Operation hours : Monday - Friday

8 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm

40 minute initials, 15-20 minute follow ups. Averages out to about 16 patients a day after patient panel has been built (usually 6-9 months). Ramp up schedule the first few months where they will start off seeing 1 patient / hr and increase the load over a few weeks.

POSITION SUMMARY : This is a professional position of a highly complex nature involving the direct medical care of patients. The work is performed independently with clinical oversight provided by the Vice President of Clinical Affairs and administrative supervision provided by the Program Administrator and / or Region Director. The Psychiatrist must operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts and grants providing for the funding of programs and projects.
