ESY - Secondary Related Services, Physical Therapist

Description

Provides educationally relevant services to students receiving special education services. Focuses on the acquisition of basic motor skills and environmental accommodations necessary for functional mobility within the school environment and facilitating the physical capability for participating with peers. Must possess sufficient strength, dexterity, and mobility to perform or assist in performing all assigned tasks. Position requires the flexibility to serve multiple sites on an itinerant schedule and to provide training to ESY staff around physical management, equipment use, and supporting self-care.

Qualifications

This position requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, successful completion of the National Physical Therapy exam, and licensure from the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy.
