Travel Nurse RN - Trauma Intensive Care Unit - $1,964 per week in Asheville, NC

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : ICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Trauma and / or surgical ICU background Description : We are seeking motivated and skilled registered nurses for our ICU unit. The unit consists of 20 beds with a team-oriented approach to patient care. Staffing on day shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 10 nurses. Staffing on night shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 10 nurses. Patient ratios are maintained at 1 : 2 to 1 : 3, with consideration for staffing challenges. Equipment utilized includes Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial lines, and CVC lines. Electronic Medical Record system in use is Cerner. Common procedures performed in the unit include central line insertions, chest tube insertions, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies. We are looking for candidates who work well in a team environment. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. Every other weekend scheduling is required.
