Our team offers immediate appointments, same-day appointments, and a variety of exams, wellness checks, procedures, and testing for patients. Our team is excited to provide services for all general healthcare needs as well as comprehensive adult healthcare.
Our Nurse Practitioners offer preventive care, chronic disease management, health screenings, annual physical exams, and more. We provide personalized care to manage conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, with a focus on your overall health and well-being.
Our Hospital :
Bonner General Health is a 25 bed critical access hospital located in the heart of downtown Sandpoint, a beautiful small town located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. BGH has served Sandpoint and the surrounding area of over 70 years and offers a network of outpatient clinics as well as a wide range of hospital services including inpatient and ICU level care, surgery services, laboratory and imaging, hospice, therapy services and more to meet the needs of our growing and vibrant community.
In addition to having one of the most beautiful lakes, this area is known for the ski slopes and terrain parks at Schweitzer Mountain Resort and the many bike, hiking, ATV, and snowmobile trails that skirt the lake and climb the nearby Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges. It truly is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground.
Education / Experience :
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Family Medicine or Internal Practice care setting preferred
Licenses / certifications required :
Current State of Idaho Nurse Practitioner license and certification by the applicable accrediting organization
Meets and maintains credentialing requirements of Allied Health category of BGH staff affiliation
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS
