The Senior Controls Engineer will be responsible for the interpretation of scope and hardware / software design, database creation, graphical user interface, and the implementation of procedures and standards used in the design and programming of controls projects. The Controls Engineer will assist the installation team with system commissioning and device verification in the field.

What you'll do :

• Configure and program HVAC building automation and control systems (direct digital controls) and create sequence of operations.
• Develop and test software programs to operate the system.
• Apply field change information for as-built drawings and software.
• Perform tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including : system programming, integration, system and network commissioning and project closeout.
• Complete hardware design and software programming using established standards.
• Manage and complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required. Validate complete system functionality and resolve issues with subcontractors and others to ensure proper operation. Provide accurate project as-built and commissioning documentation.
• Perform site-specific training for owner / operator on the total system in full or with assistance. Ensure owner / operator has been trained. Provide proper documentation and manuals for system operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
