Job descriptionCurrent PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 Endorsement Curriculum & Instruction Endorsement on the PEL, preferred but not required Extensive knowledge of IEP Writing and Process Knowledge of Think Cerca, Myon, and / or MobyMax is ideal Ability to coach and lead educational staff A strong background in Special Education including but not limited to cognitive & LD, Autism, BD, ED and OHI Experience in PBIS and trauma-informed programming is a plus Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skills Ability to multitask

As a Curriculum Coordinator with us, you will be responsible for academic programming and oversight of special education compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, assistants and aides on the instruction of students with disabilities in academic subjects.
- Develop and implement technology-based learning
- Collaborate with teaching staff on the development and update of IEP goals and progress for students on assigned caseload.
- Monitor credits and courses required for graduation for students; Support teaching staff in preparing assignments, grading assignments, and preparing reports.
- In collaboration with administration, maintain all student transcripts, graduation analysis documents and progress reports.
- Coordinate and communicate with other staff members in order to ensure consistent application of the academic and therapeutic program.
