Accounts Payable Specialist

The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a leading importer of fresh fruit from around the globe, the Company continues to focus on bringing the finest imported products to the United States and Canada. Together we are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team at their Port Washington, NY location.

Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and payments.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to research, resolve, and dispute unexpected deductions or chargebacks.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in outstanding accounts and billing issues.
• Participate in weekly Finance meetings to provide updates and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and organized records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve payment-related inquiries.

Qualifications :

Compensation : $75k- $95k based on experience.
