Controls Technician

Job Summary :

Knowledge and Skills (Education) :

• Post-Secondary Education- Electro-Mechanical Technician-Automation and Robotics Diploma or Equivalent.
• Provincial Certification Red Seal 309A or 442A would help
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of technical controls and strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Proficient in Microsoft office

Critical Success Factors :

Major Accountabilities :

Trouble shoot equipment consisting of torque controllers (ATLAS COPCO), robotics and programmable logic controllers

Decision Making and Authority :

Review and troubleshoot downtime issues.
