This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives both on-site and in-office environments. The successful candidate will travel occasionally, ensure project milestones are met, and foster a collaborative and professional work culture. Key Responsibilities- Project Management- Oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.- Lead project teams, including subcontractors and staff, across various project phases.- Provide support for pre-construction planning, estimating, and job development to enhance project delivery.- Work in the office and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues proactively.- Communication and Leadership- Maintain consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, delivering updates and addressing concerns.- Interface with ownership and contribute to strategic decision-making with a holistic project management approach.- Resolve conflicts effectively and foster a positive team environment.- Act as a leader by assisting with punch lists and hands-on tasks when needed to show how to get it done.- Technical Proficiency- Utilize construction management and estimating software to streamline workflows.- Be tech-savvy with tools like Dropbox for document management and ensure prompt communication through email and other platforms.- Oversee resource allocation, cost control, and documentation (schedules, budgets, reports).- Additional Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies.- Handle rare weekend work if project demands arise.- Manage travel logistics, including per diem and accommodations, as needed.
