They focus on the overall well-being and learning capacity of students such that school is a productive environment in which to learn and grow. Their psychological expertise guides the development of assessment protocols and support plans. School psychologists conduct testing, interpret results and collaborate with other specialized service providers to develop comprehensive plans and monitoring systems that support students in engaging in classroom learning effectively. They maintain a focus on grade level academic performance and the development of the skills and dispositions of the FPS Vision of the Global Citizen for students on their caseload. They communicate regularly with classroom teachers, sharing effective strategies for supporting student growth. School Psychologists maintain high levels of confidentiality and demonstrate all aspects of CT's Code of Professional Responsibility.Qualifications : Must hold or be eligible for CT State Certification in School Psychology (070) Consideration will be given to the following - Relevant and recent experience References that indicate excellent academic and behavioral support skills, initiative, and a learner mindset Philosophy that aligns with the district's core beliefs Various life experiences that enhance contributions to the overall district and / or school community Salary : $55,018 - $111,829
