Job Purpose

The General Counsel and Senior Manager of Compliance, Risk, and Law is responsible for the following :

• Ensuring Honda Trading’s compliance with all import and export regulations when conducting cross-border business. This includes overseeing that each company within the Americas Region maintains effective controls to meet both national regulatory requirements and regional expectations. The role also includes the development and implementation of regional trade policies.
• Collaborating closely with Regional Senior Management and the senior leadership of each company within the region to align compliance and risk strategies.
• Holding overall responsibility for matters related to trade compliance, corporate governance, risk management, ethics, and Honda’s sustainability initiatives.
