Schedule : Monday - Friday; Days / Evenings / Nights

Join our team as a Home Health Aide Trainee, where you will receive comprehensive training while making a difference in the lives of those you care for. Your responsibilities will include :

Program Participation : Engage actively in class readings, discussions, and complete all course assignments.

Verified Skill : Learn to skillfully and safely perform the activities listed on the home health aide competency test.

Demonstrate Knowledge : Aim to achieve a score of 80% or higher on Home Health Aide quizzes and exams.

Mandatory Attendance : Arrive punctually for all required training classes and clinical orientations to ensure you gain all necessary knowledge and skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License (not required for ElderONE).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

1-2 years of direct patient care experience is preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Physical stamina to meet job demands, including continuous standing or walking and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Proficient computer skills are preferred.

EDUCATION & LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :

Valid New York State Driver's License required (if applicable).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work : Requires the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds occasionally and lift 10 to 25 pounds frequently. This position also involves frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Pay Range : $18.65 - $18.65

The listed base pay range represents potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant and is subject to change based on experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, and contractual arrangements.
