Key Requirements

  • Minimum of years of experience in Neuro ICU
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Required Skills : Ventilator management, IV Start, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care, Continuous IV Sedation, CVA / Acute Stroke Management, External Ventricular Drains (EVD), ICP Monitoring, Post Neurosurgery Management, Care of Ventilated Patients, Isolation Precautions, and Lumbar Drain Experience
  • Required Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH

    Our patient population includes strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling / clipping, seizures, depth electrodes, and myasthenia gravis.

  • Special Procedures : Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Equipment : EVD, Lumbar Drains, Camino, LICOX, NICOM, and Arctic Sun

  • Unit Systems : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • Scheduling : Per unit needs
  • Orientation : hours ( days or nights)
