Eleven Recruiting is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator, who is a highly motivated self-starter with deep expertise, in managing complex government and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will thrive both independently and within a collaborative environment, possessing strong knowledge of DoD contracts , FAR / DFARS compliance , and full contract lifecycle management . This individual will be responsible for leading the review, negotiation, and administration of various contractual agreements and serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
Contract Negotiation & Administration
- Review, negotiate, and redline prime contracts, subcontracts, contract modifications, NDAs, TAs, and other agreements.
- Analyze RFPs, solicitations, and cost / contract volumes for compliance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable DoD procurement regulations.
- Develop and present risk assessments and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as liaison with government contracting officers, prime contractors, and internal departments on all contractual matters.
Contract Lifecycle Management
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of contracts from proposal development through closeout.Ensure compliance with contractual deliverables, milestones, and regulatory requirements.Maintain organized and auditable contract documentation for internal and external review.Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
Ensure all contractual actions comply with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and related regulations.Provide guidance on cost allowability and government cost principles (2 C.F.R. 200).Coordinate with legal, finance, operations, and business development teams to align terms with corporate objectives.Stakeholder & Internal Collaboration
Partner with cross-functional teams to support contract execution, performance, and compliance.Lead or support negotiations advocating for favorable terms while protecting company interests.Educate internal teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation practices.Required Qualifications :
5–7+ years of direct experience in defense / government contract administration.Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, OTAs).Demonstrated experience with CAS-covered contracts and certified cost / pricing data (formerly TINA).Experience administering prime contracts and managing subcontracts.Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and government export controls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.Strong contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field OR 8+ years of relevant experience in federal procurement (contractor or government).Experience with contracts for DoD agencies (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.) and prime contractors.Familiarity with 2 C.F.R. 200 cost allowability and DCAA cost accounting practices.Contract experience in aerospace, missile defense, or hypersonic systems.Active Secret or higher security clearance.
