We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens positions in Houston, TX. The role requires active TX licensing and DEA certification, with a minimum availability of three shifts per month across various emergency departments. This opportunity provides coverage for both day and night shifts, and includes malpractice insurance, travel, and accommodations.

SMART has an exciting new locum need in Houston, TX for emergency medicine physicians. This need starts October 1 and will be ongoing during permanent recruitment.

Details Include :

• BC / BE via ABEM or AOBEM only
• Must hold active TX license and DEA
• Minimum availability : 3 shifts per month
• Shift times : range from 9 12 hours. Need both day and night coverage.
• Locum need spans across 8 sites within the Houston area. 5 of the sites are free standing EDs.
• Annual volumes range from 10k 64k
• EMR : EPIC
• Clean files will be eligible for expedited credentialing (2 weeks)
• SMART covers malpractice, travel, and accommodations for all clinicians while on assignment.
