CVOR OR Registered Nurse (RN) Camden, NJ 13 Weeks 36 Hours / Week Shift : 6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM Position Summary The CVOR OR RN is responsible for providing high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, Level I trauma environment. This role requires the ability to scrub Endovascular cases and participate in both circulating and scrubbing duties. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skill, trauma expertise, and the ability to adapt to complex cardiovascular and surgical cases. Key Responsibilities Scrub Endovascular cases (mandatory requirement). Circulate and scrub for a variety of cardiovascular and trauma procedures. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Apply critical-thinking skills in high-acuity, Level I trauma settings. Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and accurate procedural documentation. Coordinate perioperative care and assist with procedural preparation and recovery. Uphold OR protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies. Schedule Requirements Shift : 6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM On-Call : 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekend call as needed. Holidays : Work every other holiday If off on the holiday, must work the day before or the day after Must work one evening and one day holiday Must work one winter hallmark and one spring hallmark holiday No consecutive days or consecutive weeks of RTO will be approved—candidate must be flexible to department needs. Required Qualifications Active New Jersey RN license (must be active at submission) 4 years of Level I trauma experience – Required Scrub and circulate experience – Required Must be able to scrub Endovascular cases BLS and NIHSS certifications – Required COVID vaccination 1 booster – Required BSN preferred Skills & Competencies Excellent attention to detail with a focus on patient safety and quality monitoring Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary surgical environment Competence in high-pressure, fast-paced trauma and cardiovascular settings.
