Assist the Pharmacist to perform routine duties including retrieving and receiving written doctor''s orders, prescriptions or files, perfomring clerical tasks such as typing labels and maintaining patient profiles, packaging medications, answering phones, keeping records, accounts receivable postings, assisting with inventory control, maintaining computerized databases, storing and retreiving archived data and other duties as defined by state and federal law under the immediate supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Education / Qualification Requirements

At least 18 years of age

Character - good morale character and be nonimpared

US Citizenship or proof of lawful permanent residence

High school education or equivalent

Must have 500 hours of on-site training in a board approved site

Must have successfully completed the board approved pharmacy technician examination
