Security Officer
The part-time security officer is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) property, staff, faculty, students, and visitors. The goal of the security staff is to make certain that the campus is a safe, friendly, and orderly environment.

While performing duties, the employee may be regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods, walk long distances, use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may be required to work in outside weather conditions and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and high noise levels.
The college will provide a uniform polo and pants, pen and pencil, notepad and flashlight. The college requires but does not provide a watch, non-steel toed boots or uniform shoes or hem service for uniform pants. On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and / or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position.
