CLEVELAND OHIO JOB POSTING
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Cleans the cut and pack room to company and USDA standards; including but not limited to ensuring all equipment, walls, and floor are being washed with the chlorinated degreaser provided, rinsed with water, then sanitized.
- Cleans the spice room nightly; including but not limited to wiping all the lids of spice containers with a damp rag or paper towel (only water), washing tables and floors with degreaser and rinsing with water, sanitizing tables, squeegeeing floor, and ensuring all water goes into drains.
- Sweeps and wipes down the breakroom nightly.
- Cleans the hallway nightly; including but not limited to cleaning all debris, washing tubs with the same with degreaser and rinsing with water, moving empty pallets to the dock, and washing the floors with the degreaser and rinsing with water.
- Removes all trash from all rooms in the building and disposes of it nightly.
- Ensures the bathrooms in the breakroom are detailed cleaned; including but not limited to spraying, mopping, removing trash or debris, and scrubbing sinks, stalls, toilets, urinals, and floors with bleach.
- Empties cardboard baler whenever it is 75% full.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual needs to constantly move about inside the plant using cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure facilities are compliant with USDA and company standards. The employee will occasionally be required to remain in a stationary position while cleaning specific pieces of equipment or areas. The individual frequently positions self to move and clean equipment that is positioned near ground level and overhead. They occasionally operate a computer and printer for labeling. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and employees while interacting. The individual must regularly and frequently push, pull and / or move up to 100 pounds. The individual frequently operates an electric pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently exposed to cold environments in coolers and freezers. They are occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Due to exposure of food, employees are required to wear personal protective equipment. The employee will be required to wear slip resistant shoes, hair nets, and beard covers while anywhere in the plant.
