Discover a World of Communication Opportunity

Imagine a career that allows you to give voice to hope and healing. As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of the country's most culturally rich cities, your efforts will extend far beyond addressing communication and swallowing disorders. You will have the chance to transform lives, rekindle confidence, and facilitate meaningful connections - from toddlers as they take their first steps into language to seniors as they navigate their way back to independence.

This position presents a remarkable opportunity to impact diverse populations throughout their lives, combining outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient support. Whether your passion lies in pediatric language acquisition, adult neurogenic communication disorders, or rehabilitating geriatric cognitive-linguistic abilities, you'll discover both purpose and flexibility here.

  • Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to meet both immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language acquisition, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
  • Formulate collaborative care strategies by working closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members.
  • Provide education to patients and families to empower them in supporting progress beyond the clinical setting.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for your patients.
  • Uphold precise and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and methodologies in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet obtained ASHA certification.
  • Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred : Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
  • Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatments for all age groups, with a solid understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, both developmental and acquired.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in adapting therapy approaches to address varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong clinical judgment coupled with adept problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and documentation processes.
  • Perks of Joining Our Team

  • Competitive salary reflective of your experience and expertise.
  • Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life harmony while managing diverse caseloads.
  • Opportunities to cultivate specialty areas such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
  • Paid time off (PTO) as well as holiday compensation.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans to support your well-being.
  • Reimbursement for continuing education and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • A collaborative environment that prioritizes quality care and lifelong learning.
  • Your Journey in Speech Therapy Awaits

In this role, you will not only deliver speech therapy services but also join a community dedicated to restoring words, enhancing connections, and creating joyful interactions through the simple yet profound human experience of understanding and communication.

As part of a team that treats one another like family, you will thrive in an atmosphere that emphasizes collaboration over competition. Each patient's journey is unique, and we trust you to help shape their narrative.

Why You'll Fall in Love with Nashville

In Nashville, the melody of life strikes a harmonious chord, melding innovation with the warmth of genuine southern hospitality. This vibrant city is a treasure trove of artistic expression and culinary delights, offering an enriching experience for those who long to live where culture and nature intertwine.

Families can frequently be seen enjoying the lively music scene, sharing delightful picnics in lush parks, or savoring local artisanal food at nearby markets. Outdoor enthusiasts can immerse themselves in scenic adventures, from hiking the beautiful trails to exploring the city's banks alongside the Cumberland River. Music aficionados revel in the sounds created by talented local artists, and food lovers will delight in Nashville's acclaimed culinary landscape, offering everything from iconic hot chicken to gourmet dining experiences.

This city pulsates with creativity; from vibrant murals to spirited festivals, there is always something stirring life into the community. Professionals also benefit from a flourishing healthcare industry, no state income tax, and a reasonable cost of living - a perfect recipe for growing a flourishing career.

Whether you're just beginning your career or you are an experienced clinician ready for new horizons, Nashville offers the environment for personal and professional growth.

    Who We Are Looking For

We seek a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist whose drive is fueled not only by outcomes but by compassion. We are searching for someone who can envision a silenced child blossoming into a confident speaker, or who sees the determination in a stroke survivor through their slurred speech.

Whether you specialize in pediatrics and wish to broaden your services to adults or bring expertise in neuro-based therapy and desire to include early intervention in your work, we are excited to connect.

If you're ready to lead with your skills while serving with kindness, we would love to welcome you to our team.

    Let's Create Connections Together

If you resonate with the idea that speech is about more than just sounds, and that therapy extends beyond mere tasks - if you believe in the importance of trust building before tackling goals and the power of laughter alongside language - then this may be the next chapter in your professional narrative.

Join us in a community that champions communication, connection, and the audacity to start anew. Apply today and bring your voice to our team, helping others find theirs.
