Executive Assistant
McKesson, a leading Fortune 9 healthcare company, is seeking a strong, skilled Executive Assistant to provide administrative support for large and growing Enterprise Applications organization. The Executive Assistant will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks for Senior Vice President in technology and select members of the Leadership Team. Exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
This individual will be a highly resourceful team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. He / She will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Duties include organizing schedules, coordinating information and being in contact with all people concerned. Acts as the liaison between the SVP & VPs, the company's other departments and external key clients.
Responsibilities include managing and maintaining complex calendars, ensuring the SVPs are prepared for meetings and key engagements. Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries. Preparing and editing high-quality presentations, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Organizing and supporting leadership meetings, off-sites, and town halls, including agenda planning, logistics, and follow-up. Maintaining organizational charts and tracking budgets related to VP team activities. Serving as a liaison between the SVPs, internal departments, and external clients, ensuring timely and effective communication. Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
Minimum requirements typically require 6+ years of related experience. Critical skills include a minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Additional knowledge and skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Detail-focused orientation and strong ability to drive complex tasks to completion across organizational lines. Experience with budget tracking and organizational chart creation. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information. Ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism.
