Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Full-time board-eligible / board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Candidates should be fellowship trained in Thoracic Surgery, with a focus in minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Opportunity Highlights :

• Established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program, located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina
• The Thoracic program includes lung cancer screening, a lung nodule clinic, and multidisciplinary care involving surgery, radiation, and medical oncology.
• Team of 12 Providers in both cardiac and thoracic service lines : 4 physicians & 8 APPs
• Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization and foster collaborative, multi-disciplined team-based care.
• The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research.
• Teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students
• Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care
• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room
• Call duties are shared with the Cardio-Thoracic Team, rotating every 3 - 4 days and weekends.
• The Charlotte Region is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. The institute includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across the state of NC.
