Detox RN - Interview Required

RN – Inpatient Detox | Akron, OH 44304

RN – Inpatient Detox Pay : $55 / hr.

RN – Inpatient Detox Contract : 13 weeks (possible extension up to 1 year)

RN – Inpatient Detox Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

RN – Inpatient Detox Unit : 14-bed Inpatient Detox

RN – Inpatient Detox Unit Overview

14-bed voluntary inpatient detox unit

Patient population : detox from opiates, benzodiazepines, and alcohol

Typical length of stay : 3–5 days

Ratios : 1 : 5–1 : 7

Addiction medicine physicians admit patients.

Social workers onsite for assessment & discharge planning

RN must be able to draw blood and manage IVs.

Floating required.

May float to Behavioral Health (Psych)

May float to Med / Surg as helping hands (call lights, bathroom assists, etc.)

If floating to BH, nurse will take a team.

Interviews required.

RN – Inpatient Detox Requirements

Active RN license

BLS and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Blue Card required at time of submission.

2+ years of recent Detox RN experience

Epic experience within the last 12 months (must appear clearly on resume)

Accredited nursing degree : ASN or BSN through ACEN or CCNE

Must be able to float and work every other weekend.

RTO due at submission

Maximum 7 days allowed.

No block scheduling requests.

More than 7 days = automatic rejection
