We're on the hunt for a highly skilled, certified Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team in Gilroy, CA. The pay range starts at $30 / hr and goes up from there depending on experience and includes benefits. The pay is higher with certifications, we are willing to train and there is a path for growth.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, underground and aboveground storage tanks, piping systems, and related petroleum equipment.
• Troubleshoot and service electrical and mechanical components of fuel systems, including sensors, leak detection, and monitoring systems.
• Calibrate and test fuel dispensing systems and POS interfaces to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fueling systems and report deficiencies.
• Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures to minimize downtime at customer sites.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including UST / AST requirements.
• Maintain detailed service records, test results, inspection logs, and maintenance reports.
• Interface professionally with customers, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel.
• Adhere to and promote all company safety policies, including lockout / tagout, confined space, and hazardous material handling.
• Stay current with industry standards, manufacturer training, and certifications.
