Sterile Technician (Rio Rancho)

Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Technician to join our team.

About the Role

As a Sterile Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. You will function as a member of the sterile team, donning gown and gloves, creating and maintaining a sterile field, and issuing instruments to surgeons. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a sterile environment.

Issue instruments to surgeons during surgical procedures.

Participate in the nursing care of surgical patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need :

A High School diploma or equivalent.

No minimum experience required.

CPR for Healthcare / BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification within 30 days.
