Overview :
Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Schedule : Monday to Friday - 7 AM to 5 PM.
Job Description Summary :
Aids pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of patient medications, sterile products, TPNs, sterile hazardous medications, and supplies in the home infusion pharmacy. Ensures and coordinates the delivery of these medications to patient homes. Pharmacy Technician II demonstrates competency and troubleshooting on pharmacy technologies.

Essential Functions :
800 standards, and other regulatory requirements, which allow safe and
accurate preparation and / or compounding of patient specific medications (IV
and injectable), including reconstitution when applicable. This includes
completing daily, weekly, and monthly documentation of completed tasks in
designated record keeping systems (Continuously)
equipment in accordance with NCH policies and procedures, FDA, JC standards, USP 797 & 800 Guidelines and OSHA requirements. (Continuously)
includes delivery receipt process and documentation. (Continuously)
compliance needs necessary for department operations (Occasionally)
coordinators of any problems or concerns. (Continuously)
Ensures that the trainees are competent to function in the homecare
pharmacy area. (Frequently)

Registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Registered
Technician, required.
