Royal Oak Nursing Center has an amazing opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant in Dade City, FL!

We are looking for an OTA to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals that service our residents through person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes!

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients in improving functional activities related to self-care, work, and leisure
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the therapy team
  • Participate in care planning and team conferences
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies
  • Educate residents and families on therapeutic goals and strategies
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications :

  • Current Florida state licensure  as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
  • Graduate  of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • CPR certification (preferred or required depending on facility policy)
