The Northrop Grumman Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity Division of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Contract Administrator to join the Secure Processing and Networks Business Unit (SPAN BU) in San Diego, CA and will be required to work at Spectrum Center. This position may be staffed as a hybrid role and offers the 9 / 80 schedule. The Contract Administrator will be considered a key focal point on contract matters within the organization and must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. As most assignments are complex, the position will require the candidate to work independently without appreciable direction. This position will require excellent oral and written communication skills and will represent the organization as a focal point on contract matters.

What You'll Get to Do :

• Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepares proposals, progress, and other reports.
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Primary Level Salary Range : $75,800.00 - $113,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
