Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurosurgery

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a rewarding role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Neurosurgery. We value your commitment to patient care and provide an environment that supports professional growth and teamwork.

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Full-Time Position

Schedule : 3rd Shift, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Incentives and Benefits :

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview : Work within our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for patients with diverse needs, such as :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.

Patients undergoing spine surgeries (cervical, thoracic, lumbar).

Management of acute stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate care.

Utilize clinical judgment to support optimal patient outcomes.

Contribute to improved patient experiences across the continuum of care.

Qualifications :

Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.

BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Completion of an accredited Nursing program.

1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry patients and equipment safely.

Must have functional speech, vision, and hearing for effective communication.
