Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Engineer who will maintain existing databases and design new database structures for various products.

Key Responsibilities

Create and optimize databases, including stored procedures, views, and triggers

Liaise with developers to enhance applications and gather user requirements

Manage data processes and ensure compliance with performance and security standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

4+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Development

In-depth understanding of data management, including permissions and security

Experience with Agile Development Methodology and performance analysis tools

Ability to work closely with DBA teams and adhere to DB coding standards
