How You'll Create Possibilities
Material Flow Management & Planning (35%)
Independently oversee material flow for global suppliers, ensuring timely availability and adherence to schedules.
Maintain accurate inventory data in MRP systems, updating part parameters like safety stock, lead times, and order quantities.
Implement corrective actions to resolve material span issues and improve availability using advanced problem-solving skills.
Lead inventory reduction initiatives such as supplier cycle time improvements and vendor-managed inventory programs.
Develop advanced analytics to address supply-demand gaps and prioritize production needs.
Supplier Communication & Coordination (15%)
Act as the primary contact for suppliers, addressing shortages, production needs, and availability changes.
Resolve supplier issues and inventory discrepancies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Set up supplier lead times and delivery schedules during New Product Introductions (NPIs) to ensure seamless transitions.
Inventory Management & Reconciliation (10%)
Partner with the quality team to address inventory coverage issues and resolve discrepancies.
Lead efforts to reconcile physical inventory with system data, collaborating with warehouses and stakeholders.
Manage safety stock wind-down processes and coordinate with site material teams for final part counts.
Logistics & Cost Management (10%)
Coordinate expedited material deliveries while minimizing transportation costs.
Drive productivity improvements through efficient logistics and cost-effective transportation planning.
Support variable cost productivity initiatives and influence best practices in logistics and planning.
Build-Out & New Product Introduction (NPI) Management (30%)
Oversee supplier changes and build-out processes, including manual part ordering as needed.
Lead supply planning strategies to optimize inventory health and minimize excess or obsolete stock risks.
Collaborate across functions to address supply challenges and maintain a 95%+ service level for managed parts.
Implement scenario planning and predictive analytics to support supply network planning and E2E transformation.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management, lean processes, and logistics.
Proficiency in Excel, Oracle, Tableau / MicroStrategy, and other BI tools.
Proven ability to manage high SKU, high-velocity operations and achieve operational targets.
Strong communication skills with experience influencing policies and procedures across teams.
Availability for up to 15% travel to support satellite plant activities and business meetings / training as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
Experience in global supply chain operations and advanced planning techniques.
