Position Summary

Join Camp W Day Camp as an Art Teacher and inspire campers (7-10 years old ) to explore their creativity, build artistic skills, and have fun! In this role you'll lead art projects, teach a variety of media, and foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers feel safe to express themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily art sessions (35 minutes long) and creative projects for campers (12-15 campers per group).
• Teach and assist with various art media (puppet making, canvas painting, drawing and more) adaptable to different skill levels.
• Ensure art area is safe, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Collaborate with other camp staff and integrate art activities into the overall camp day.
• Supervise campers during art time and support their creative development and peer interactions.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and fun camp atmosphere, encouraging campers and celebrating their work.
