Summary: Order Planner
As a member of the OIA Global Logistics operation, the Order Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating the order workflow to the warehouse in an efficient and effective manner, while maintaining priorities within the customer’s specific routing instructions and guidelines. The ideal candidate is responsible for providing world class customer service throughout the internal and external organization. The Order Planner must have excellent problem solving, communication, computer, organizational skills and must be process driven.

Salary Range: From $27.00 hourly to $29.00 hourly.
The actual pay may vary based on several factors, including professional experience, hiring location, skills, and competencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan wave releases daily to assure that the proper orders (based on priorities and order type) and number of orders are sent to the warehouse associates for processing.
- Acknowledge receipt of orders and any changes.
- Prioritize Orders from our customer in the WMS.
- Communicate any changes to these priorities to the warehouse.
- Reviewing the priorities throughout the day assured us the warehouse is working on the correct orders.
- Reporting the priorities open and completed to the supervisory staff and customer.
- Analyzing the orders in the system to provide visibility to problem situations.
- Maintain metrics, reports, and process documentation as required.
- Responsible for exceeding customer metrics (cost, quality, and responsiveness).
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy in OMS and WMS systems.
- Be proactive, alert personnel to possible issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist facility manager in the effective planning and execution of warehouse and VAS activities.
- Resolve problems with client’s orders or other perform Root Cause Analysis on other problems or issues within the operation including recommendations on how to meet KPIs should OIA fall below our customer’s expectations.
- Learn the data structure of the applications used at OIA Global Logistics enabling you to use your database and analytical skills to develop ad hoc reports or modify existing reports as needed by the operations team.
- Ability to participate in projects as a team member and work independently.
- Generate solutions and continuous improvement suggestions to all Clients to drive increased operational efficiency.
