The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and / or skill level. Hourly Rate :

$23 - $25 / hr.

OVERVIEW

Design develop test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors quality control inventory control logistics and material flow cost analysis and production coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide lean manufacturing solutions for customer or process specific production such as lead time reduction single piece flow & pull systems.

Support Short & Long range capacity Planning such as Kinaxis Rapid Response Capacity Software

Draft and design layout of equipment materials and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.

Study operations sequence material flow and project information to optimize manufacturing operations.

Analyze production data (cycle times flow) to identify inefficiencies.

Generate performance reports and visualizations.

Execute your ideas and solutions with engineers and production staff through influential leadership

Modify & improve workstations & Material Deployment solutions to optimize production work cells.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Student working towards a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering for the entire duration of internship.

Experience in AutoCAD or Draftsite

Experience in Google Applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Sohmore or Junior level status

GPA : 3.0 or higher is preferred

Excellent analytical problem solving and organizational skills

Strong communication skills
