The Vice President of Capital Markets will play a pivotal role in supporting Bamboo Equity Partners' investment activities. This individual will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, developing and implementing capital markets strategies, assisting with investor relations, and leading a team of financial analysts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling and team leadership, and a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry.
Responsibilities
Financial Modeling and Analysis :
- Develop complex financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions.
- Identify and assess potential investment opportunities in line with Bamboo’s investment strategy.
- Prepare financial projections and forecasts to support investment decisions.
Portfolio Management :
Monitor the performance of existing portfolio and provide regular updates to the CEO and owners group.Review and help facilitate any transactions between the properties and the fund level, including capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and fee payments.Assist in the development and implementation of exit strategies for dispositions.Manage relationship with Intelica Property Accounting and Property Management teams and McClain Construction.Financial Review And Reporting :
Prepare financial reports and statements for all assets within the Bamboo portfolio.Assist with the preparation of investor reports and presentations.In coordination with Intelica Property Accounting, conduct month, quarter and year-end financial reviews of all underlying assets in the Bamboo portfolio to ensure conformity to GAAP.Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts.Inspire and motivate a team known for excellent client service, high performance, collaboration, retention and satisfaction.Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. CFA or MBA preferred.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or private equity.3-5 years management experience.Proven track record of financial modeling, valuation, reporting and analysis.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Intermediate-to-Advanced MS Excel proficiency. Proficiency with other tools in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Seniority level
