The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for driving sales and managing strategic partnerships within a defined territory of hospitals and healthcare systems. The RAM will execute business plans aligned with company goals, secure new business, support hospital conversions, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare environment, GPOs, IDNs, and hospital buying behaviors.

In this role you will :

  • Manage and grow business with existing hospital accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including Purchasing, Nursing Leadership, and Supply Chain.
  • Maintain regular communication and conduct business reviews with top hospital systems.
  • Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct product presentations, trials, and in-services to drive product adoption.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Contracts, GPO Account Teams) to execute strategies tailored to the hospital channel.

Essential Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3-5 years Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
  • Strong preference for at least one year of sales experience in Hospitals
  • Sales Aptitude REQUIRED
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have excellent presentation skills with the ability to motivate and persuade others
  • Must have the ability to provide geographic coverage of target accounts in large region geography
  • Must have the ability to develop and execute plans against objectives while working in an independent environment
  • Desired Requirements :

  • Strong preference for at least one year of sales experience in Hospitals
  • The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90.000 to $95.000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions / bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
