Location : Lander, Wyoming (82520) – Wyoming nursing jobs

Assignment Type : Travel Med / Surg RN

Start Date : December 22, 2025 (or sooner)

End Date : March 23, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Wyoming RN license (required for Wyoming healthcare jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to start by December 22, 2025 or sooner

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a clinical setting

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, and document all nursing care

Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and home management

Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment, interpret electronic displays, and respond to emergencies

Initiate and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians

Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, ensuring proper equipment preparation

Participate in discharge planning and maintain accurate, timely documentation

Perform other related duties as assigned in the Med / Surg unit
