The provider will handle an average of 2-5 calls per night, with support from a Hospitalist to triage calls. Ideal candidates should be comfortable managing ventilated patients and can quickly obtain a Kentucky medical license for the duration of the emergency.

Locums need in April 2020 for an Intensivist or Pulmonary / Critical Care (Internal Medicine also ok) provider in Kentucky with easy and quick access to 3 international airports. Physicians not already licensed in Kentucky may register to practice within Kentucky during this current state of emergency. The form is just two pages and access is granted in just a few days.

Locums coverage for inpatient only. Receive on average 2-5 calls per night. Call is triaged through Hospitalist Provide relief for the one Pulm / CC physician on staff. $250 per hour. 12 bed, open ICU. Med / surg acuity. Must be comfortable with vent patients.
