Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Burn ICU position, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Burn Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Work in a hospital setting with burn patient population

Night shift from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30

13-week contract assignment

Use Cerner EMR for patient documentation

Scrub color is ceil blue

Provide specialized critical care to burn patients in the ICU

All Ascension positions are offered automatically upon meeting requirements

Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate based on facility radius rules

Covid vaccination is not required

Candidates should only apply to one Ascension position system wide at a time

Ceil blue scrubs are required for this assignment

Requirements

Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred

MOAB or CPI De-Escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 Hours) preferred

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Copy of driver’s license required

License / certificate primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Two professional references required
