Sheet Metal Mechanic

Join our team as a Sheet Metal Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in our fabrication shop, crafting and delivering high-quality sheet metal products. You will work with advanced machinery and contribute to maintaining the operational efficiency of our warehouse.

Responsibilities :

• Fabricate sheet metal in the fabrication shop using automated drop shears and 10-foot brakes.
• Perform light maintenance around the warehouse, including sweeping, cleaning, and changing tires on carts.
• Load and unload materials to and from trucks efficiently and safely.
• Deliver sheet metal to various job sites around Rochester using a company-provided truck.

Work Environment :

Work in a climate-controlled shop during winter, though note there is no AC during the summer. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
