As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Specialist in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons within the location.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.Assist in controlling access to the premises, verifying credentials as needed to help maintain a secure environment.Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to address security-related concerns specific to the technology, media, and telecommunications location.Minimum Requirements :
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Experience in access control and badge procedures is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
