Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Medical Surgical Float Pool

Location : Syracuse NY 13210

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day Shift 3x12-Hour Schedule (7 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM)

Pay Rate : $25 $30 per hour

Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Medical Surgical Float Pool assignment in Syracuse NY . The CNA will play a vital role in supporting nursing teams across multiple medical-surgical units ensuring high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities :

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene mobility feeding and comfort.

Accurately obtain and record vital signs intake / output and other assigned patient data.

Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to promote patient safety and efficient care delivery.

Transport patients specimens and equipment as needed between departments.

Maintain clean organized and safe patient care areas adhering to infection control protocols.

Float between designated medical-surgical units based on staffing needs.

Qualifications :

Active New York State CNA license required.

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or hospital-based experience required.

Level 1 trauma experience preferred.

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines not required per facility guidelines.
